The Amazing Race is officially done and dusted for 2021 and your winners have officially been crowned. Congratulations are in order for The Cowboys Brendon Crawley and Jackson Dening.
After a tough final race to the top of Mount Kosciuszko, the NSW duo were first to cross the finish line and not only won the show but also pocketed the whopping $250,000 cash prize.
Gold Coast Girls, Ashleigh and Amanda came in second whilst Super Sikhs, Jaskirat and Anurag took third place.
Host Beau Ryan took to Instagram to share his message of congratulations to the winning pair as well as the worthy runners-up.
“Champions. Big ups to the girls and Sikh’s. Incredible season. Proud of everyone involved and proud of our beautiful country. See you next season, Daddy’s gotta go home x,” he joked in the comments section of the show’s official winners’ post.
Beau also shared his own photo of Brendon and Jackson simply captioning it: “The champs are here….”
Fans were also delighted to see Brendon and Jackson’s victory and took to the official social media pages of the show to voice their excitement.
“IM SOBBING😭💚😭💚😭 I AM SO PROUD OF THE COWBOYS,” one exclaimed.
“I jumped out of my seat!!!!! The best guys, well deserved,” penned another.
“Well done cowboys. 👏👏 All 3 finalist deserved to be there. What an amazing season this has been,best yet. Loved watching you all,” a third noted.
The Cowboys were fan favourites from the get-go.
“We’re just here to show Australia that cowboys can do whatever it takes,” the pair said in a trailer for the show back in January.
But straight up, Brendon had one thing in mind for the prize money.
“If we win the 250,000 the first thing I’d do is get a new set of teeth. Don’t be fooled by that one at the front it’s a party at the back!”
