Al, 26 and Hope Kelesis, 18, took to Instagram to share a sweet Valentine’s Day Instagram story. The news didn’t quite come as a surprise to fans though, since So Dramatic have reported on rumours since January this year that the reality star and teenager have been dating.
But despite denying rumours that the pair were dating in the past, Al hasn’t been trying to hide their relationship as of late. The Love Island and MAFS star regularly comments on Hope’s Instagram.
Fans were quick to disapprove of the eight-year age gap of the pair, taking to the comments of a So Dramatic Instagram post to discuss the new relationship.
Angie Kent joined in, commenting, “Firstly, when I was 18 I was still scratching my head and bumping into things. Yes she’s the legal age (which always sounds so sus to me because really what’s the difference between 17 and 18 other than the fact you can legally drink).”
“He has had 8 or so years out of school. In the real world. Life experiences etc etc. She’s barely had a few months out of school. School is a place where you’re monitored by adults because you’re a child and you’re still learning.”
