Before they became A-listers, these red carpet stars lived together!
Justin Timberlake & Ryan Gosling
Before they became big-time superstars, Timberlake and Gosling were co-stars on The Mickey Mouse Club as children, along with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
During filming, Gosling’s mother needed to return to Canada for a job –which led to him moving in with the Timberlake family.
“We were probably a little closer than the rest of the kids that were on the show just because we had to share a bathroom,” Timberlake told Ellen DeGeneres in 2011.
Jamie Dornan & Eddie Redmayne
While he found fame on Fifty Shades of Grey, Dornan revealed recently he and Redmayne shared an apartment when they were starting out in the business.
On Live! With Kelly and Michael, Dornan said: “When we were fresh off the boat in LA, someone from the agency dropped off scripts for us. Must have been like 25 scripts in my pile and three in his.”
He went on to explain that it meant more failures for him – yet the two have since seen great success in their careers.
Winona Ryder & Gwyneth Paltrow
In the ‘90s budding stars Winona Ryder and Gwyneth Paltrow lived together.
Gwyneth even introduced Winona to Matt Damon, who she dated on and off for several years.
Despite being close at the time, there are several reports which suggest they cut ties in 1998 when Paltrow found the script for Shakespeare In Love lying around the house.
Chris Martin’s ex-wife was said to have asked to audition for the role, then she landed it and went on to win an Oscar.
Brad Pitt & Jason Priestley
Two heart throbs in one place!
Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex, Brad Pitt also shared a place with another celeb in his early days.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star revealed in his book, Jason Priestley: A Memoir, that he used to share a home with Pitt at the peak of the ‘90s.
An excerpt from Priestley’s book explained just how dire their living situation was prior to finding fame.
“We lived on ramen noodles and generic beer – the kind that came in white cans labelled ‘beer’ – and Marlboro Lights cigarettes … we were broke,” he explained.
Even A-listers have real life problems.
Emma Stone & Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper has made millions on the back of directing and acting in A Star is Born with Oscar-winner Lady Gaga, but long ago during the filming of Aloha in Hawaii, Cooper’s lease finished so he ended up staying with Stone at her house until the 2015 movie wrapped up.
