David Schwimmer is known for having a sense of humour and has shown his funny side once again in a spoof video.

Police in Blackpool, UK, posted a picture online after a Ross Geller lookalike was caught on camera with a pack of beer in his hands.
A Facebook from the police read, “Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him in relation to a theft at a Blackpool restaurant on the 20th September.”
Viewers couldn’t help but notice the man’s uncanny resemblance to Friends alum, David Schwimmer.

The 51-year-old actor caught wind of their resemblance, and took to Twitter to proclaim his innocence, writing:
“Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation. #itwasntme”
The Police saw his video and luckily, his name was cleared from the investigation.
“Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses. We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date. We’re so sorry it has to be this way,” The Blackpool Police said in a statement.
The real culprit is yet to be caught.
