Hamish Blake and Zoë Foster Blake are currently enjoying a trip around Europe with their children Sonny and Rudy.
But it wouldn’t be a family holiday with Hamish without the cheeky comedian playing a prank on his wife.

On Tuesday, Hamish shared a hilarious video with his Instagram followers where he decided to convince the fam that he was fluent in Italian.
As Hamish, Zoë and the kids are sat around a restaurant table together, the dad-of-two kicked off a flawless conversation with a waitress – and his wife couldn’t hide her surprise.
That was until it all got too much for Hamish, who couldn’t keep a straight face, and burst into laughter while talking to the waitress.
He finally came clean in his Instagram post, captioning the video with details of his prank.
“For our last breakfast in Italy I hatched a secret plan to appear fluent in Italian in front of my wife,” Hamish captioned the video on Instagram.
“I devised a script before we went on holidays, sent it to my mate Dan who translated it then recruited Martina, a lovely waitress at our hotel, to learn her part of the script and approach me casually at brekkie to begin our fluent convo and blow my wife away.
“Martina was amazing, my accent was primo grande, but my skills at hiding cheat notes on my leg could probably use some polish.”
“It’s weird, I know, that I would even need notes being one eighth Sicilian, but this was formal Italian and I grew up speaking mostly a slang/street dialect,” he concluded.
