Yes, this isn’t the real royal couple in action, it’s a preview of new Lifetime movie, Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal, the sequel to the little-seen trash-fest, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.
Lead Tiffany Smith is a passable doppelgänger for Meghan Markle, while Charlie Field is just ginger-haired and handsome – and that’s as close as we’re going to get to Prince Harry.
‘I just feel like I’m pretending to be this beautiful swan,’ moans Meghan in the clip, before we cut to a confrontation with an anonymous blonde hater with a clipped, upper crust accent.
‘It’s got to be hard to look at yourself in the mirror, and all you see is a hypocrite,’ she snipes. To which Meghan responds: ‘I’m still waiting on that curtsey.’
The film premiers in the US on May 27, on Lifetime.
