2020 may have been a rough year but thankfully 2021 is off to a great start with I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! back for another season.

However, it’s looking a little different this year as it’s usually filmed in a jungle deep in South Africa.
Instead, the 2021 season is being filmed in our very own backyard – at a site in Murwillumbah, New South Wales. In fact, it’s the very same site that many international versions of the show are filmed, including the original British franchise.
So who are the famous faces who are putting themselves up for the ultimate challenge?
Abbie Chatfield
She may have been the Gemini girl on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor and shared a smooch with Ciarran on Bachelor in Paradise but we can’t wait to see Abbie in the jungle.
Could a romance with Ash be on the cards after *that* first meeting?
Ash Williams
Comedian Ash is sure to bring the laughs this season but as for how he’ll fare in the challenges, we’re not so sure.
“If I see a huntsman in the shower… I will not shower for weeks,” he joked to Channel Ten.
Grant Denyer
For countless years we’ve waited for Grant Denyer to star on the show, and Ten have made our dreams come true in 2021!
Shortly after the premiere, the Family Feud host joked: “I only did it to get @drchrisbrown mobile number 😘 He better live up to the hype.”
Jack Vidgen
He sung his way into our hearts on Australia’s Got Talent and The Voice but now Jack is trying out another type of reality TV.
“This was one of the craziest experiences of my life and I’m excited for you guys to see it!” he penned on Instagram.
Jess Eva
Jess may be talented when it comes to radio hosting and home reno skills (as she showed on The Block) but don’t ask her to be the campsite chef this season.
“If I cooked for you, you’d be hoping for bulls’ testicles instead,” she joked.
Mel Buttle
Comedian and The Great Australian Bake-Off co-host Mel brought the laughs from day one!
When Grant Denyer asked if she’s good in the bush, the funny lady responded: “Well Grant… I could give you an answer inappropriate for this time slot.”
Paulini Curuenavuli
“I hate rats, I’m scared of heights and I’m not a particularly good swimmer BUT GEE it was fun carb loading in the lead up to entering the starvation of I’m A Celeb #Australian Jungle!”
She may not have won Australian Idol but could Paulini be Queen of the Jungle?
Toni Pearen
Toni has been part of the Aussie entertainment industry for over 20 years but confessed that her stint in the I’m A Celeb jungle was unlike anything she’s ever done.
“This was the greatest and scariest gig of my life!!! So glad I did it. It was life changing,” she confessed on Instagram.
Travis Varcoe
He’s played over 200 games and competed in epic Grand Finals but this AFL champ is facing some different kinds of challenges in the jungle.
In fact, Travis admitted: “It doesn’t take much for me to cry.”
Could he be this year’s King?
Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico
He may be a little late to the party but could the retired Australian rules legend be the season’s dark horse?
Let’s see if he’s as good at the challenges as he is at AFL.
Pettifleur Berenger
She may be a Real Housewife of Melbourne but Pettifleur’s “trading heels for hiking boots and ballgowns for bowls of rice and beans in the depths of the jungle.”
How will she fare without her luxurious creature comforts?
Colin Fassnidge
He’s known for being as tough as nails on My Kitchen Rules, but we’ll have to wait and see how Colin fares in the jungle.
“After the year we had , why not do it !!!!!! Strap in cos I know what’s coming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” the Irish chef joked on Instagram after his IAC debut.
Alli Simpson
Her older brother Cody Simpson may have won the first ever season of The Masked Singer Australia, so can Alli have her own reality TV crown?
The singer, actor and social media star with over one million Instagram followers was thrown into the deep end as soon as she entered the jungle – and a polarising love triangle has already emerged.
Adam Densten and Symon Lovett
It’s been a while since they watched I’m A Celeb from the Gogglebox couch but now these ex-stars are living it!
Perhaps fellow Gogglebox turned IAC stars Angie Kent and Yvie Jones inspired them…
