Celebrity sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian almost stole the show from the bride and groom at a lavish, $900 million wedding in India on July 13.
Kim, 43, and Khloe, 40, were guests at billionaire businessman Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant, the daughter of pharmaceutical company tycoons.
For the main ceremony, the Kardashians quite literally sparkled in traditional Indian three-piece lehengas, which feature long skirts with cropped tops and fabric draped diagonally across the body.
Kim and Khloe really amped it up for the celebrity-studded occasion, festooning their outfits with dazzling diamond jewellery and bold accessories.
Khloe opted for an eye-wateringly bright pink lehenga worn with strands of pearls, Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewellery and a matching headpiece affixed to a slicked-back bun.
Kim’s lehenga was a slightly more muted blush pink colour, but she accessorised with an incredible collection of jewellery, including a diamond-and-pearl nose chain, necklace and headpiece, again by Lorraine Schwartz.
The sisters shared behind-the-scenes footage of their preparation for the spectacular nuptials on Instagram.
In one post, Khloe Kardashian revealed she nearly took a tumble before arriving at the wedding, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
‘’I love a little slip before a night on the town,’’ she wrote in her Instagram Stories.

Who are Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant?
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were first spotted together in 2018 at the wedding of actress Priyanka Chopra and pop star Nick Jonas.
Ambani is the 29-year-old son of Indian business mogul Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, whose company Reliance Industries spans energy, communications, textiles and chemicals interests.
His father is Asia’s richest man, with a net worth estimated at around A$120 billion.
Radhika Merchant, also 29, is the daughter of Shaila Merchant and Viren Merchant, the CEO of Encore Healthcare.
Her parents’ net worth is estimated at $90 million – comparatively paltry against Ambani’s parents’ $120 billion!
Merchant has a degree in political science from New York University and is a trained classical Indian dancer.

At the pre-wedding event, Kim bucked tradition by wearing a bold red lehenga – a colour normally only worn by the bride-to-be.

The guest list featured a who’s who of international celebrities, sports stars and politicians.
Spotted attending the lavish event were British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, singers Adele, Lana Del Rey and Drake, soccer star David Beckham, Nick and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and actor and professional wrestler John Cena.

The lavish wedding cost a reported A$900 million.
It’s understood about 1200 guests attended across the three days.
Photographers were allowed to film wedding guests as they arrived at the venue, but media access was restricted inside the venue.
‘’Most of Ambani’s celebrations are closely guarded,’’ one source told Reuters.
The source claimed organisers even put tape on the camera lenses of guest’s phones to stop them from taking photos.
