Kate Middleton is dealing with family heartache as her oldest living relative has passed away, aged 107.
Alice Tomlinson was the Duchess of Cambridge’s great aunt – Alice’s brother Ronald Goldsmith was the Kate’s maternal grandfather.
Centenarian Alice died on Friday, April 5, at her home in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight, having never met her royal great niece due to a historic family rift.
She would have been great, great aunt to Prince William and Kate’s three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
