Married At First Sight star Michael Brunelli has proven just how much his stint on the reality dating show has changed him, after posting a series of unearthed throwback photos where he looks completely unrecognisable.
WATCH: MAFS’ Michael posts throwback videos from his teaching days
The primary school teacher turned online fitness entrepreneur posted several photos and videos from his time before MAFS over the weekend – and he looks like a totally different person!
Michael took to Instagram to inform his followers that he had formally resigned from teaching in order to focus full-time on his online fitness business Tru Fit.

“After a year off teaching, today I officially resigned,” Michael revealed.
“A bit of background to this post… I taught PE for 7 years and took 2020 off with the intention of going back in 2021. This year I started my online PT business @trufit.by.michael.
“t’s been a crazy few months and I’ve been able to help thousands of people through my home workout challenges! I live to educate and it’s what I’ve been able to do through my social media and now my business.
“I want to continue on this path and help people live healthier lives… that’s why I decided to officially leave teaching.”
He posted the update alongside several throwback photos of himself during his time as a teacher, before he went on MAFS.

His announcement was met with hundreds of supportive comments, including from girlfriend Martha Kalifatidis, who commented “Love you angel” on his post.
Fellow MAFS contestant Heidi Latcham also complimented her former co-star, writing “You have aged more than well!” on Michael’s photo.
Another fan agreed with Heidi’s sentiment.
“You have aged exceptionally well! Now its time to influence the masses with your insight and light. Looking forward to onwards and upwards!” they wrote.

Michael ended his post with some of his “final lessons” to all kids.
“Boys, you don’t need to like sport. If you’re passionate about fashion or make up then follow it. It doesn’t make you any less masculine.
“Girls, there is no such thing as a ‘man’s job’. You can be, do and have WHATEVER you want in your life. You’re only restricted by your imagination.
“Failures and mistakes are going to happen EVERYDAY! They are good… why? Because they are an opportunity to learn and improve.
“Be scared and act anyway. You’ll never know what you can truely achieve if you don’t take risks in life.”

He continued: “Crying doesn’t make you weak. Being able to express your emotions is super important to being healthy… and it’s a sign of how brave you are.
“You are perfectly imperfect. Embrace who are you and what you look like. You are unique and you are special. Find beauty in yourself and your world will be a happier place.
”And always offer to do the dishes at home. Mum and dad will appreciate it A LOT!”
Wise words to live by!
