Millie Bobby Brown has revealed she won’t be sharing details about her daughter, who she and husband Jake Bonjiovi, 23, announced they had welcomed into the world via adoption back in August.
Opening up to British Vogue recently, the 21-year-old shared that she and Jake are on the same page when it comes to raising their first child together. First up, the couple won’t be sharing their baby girl’s name or face for public consumption.

“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” she shared with the publication, perhaps reflecting on her own life as a child star, and her husband’s as the spawn of a rockstar.
“It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly,” she added. “If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little. As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
While many celebrities choose to share details of their little ones’ lives to the world, here are some other stars who’ve decided to keep their kid’s on the downlow…
Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley
Margot and her husband, both 35, have done well to keep the identity of their first child – who they welcomed in October 2024 – under wraps.

However, that doesn’t mean the Barbie actress isn’t happy to talk about motherhood in general – albeit briefly.
“It’s the best,” Robbie told ET Online, almost a year on from the bub’s 2024 birth.
Rachel McAdams
Rachel and her partner Jamie Linden welcomed their son in 2018 and their daughter in 2020, and all these years later, their names have remained under the radar.

Soon after her son was born, the 46-year-old told The Sunday Times, “I want to keep his life private even if mine isn’t.”
Then, after her daughter arrived, Rachel shared that the family of four actually live on a farm, far away from the bright lights – and glare – of Hollywood.
Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Moroney
While Jennifer, 35, let slip her first son Cy’s name in an interview with Vogue back in 2022, she it still yet to publicly reveal her second son’s since his birth in April.

However, she might have unintentionally given them away when she was spotted carrying a keyring with the names Cy and Louis beaded onto it.
“Every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can,” the actress told Vanity Fair. “I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”
Adam Brody and Leighton Meester
Adam and Leighton are so hot right now thanks to their roles in Nobody Wants This and I Love LA – and perhaps part of their allure is the mystery surround their private life.

In 2015, the lovebirds welcomed a daughter named Arlo Day, but when their son arrived in 2020, Adam, 45, and Leighton, 39, decided to not unveil his name.
“I don’t talk about Arlo very much,” the actress told Refinery29, adding that while she’s “very proud” of her family, she’s also proud of her work, which might be why she likes to keep both very separate.
Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker
When it becomes a “military operation” to keep your son’s name private, you can’t just throw in the towel. You could even say the Ferrari actor, 41, and his wife’s protectiveness has now rubbed off on the unidentified child who arrived in 2016.

By 2022, they’d added a daughter to their famous, but super-private, family.
“[My son] is very protective over [his baby sister],” Driver said on the Smartless podcast.
Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse
Rob, 39, and Suki, 33, are very happy to keep the details surrounding their daughter close to their chests, only announcing her gender before her early 2024 birth.

By July of that year, the actress and their baby girl appeared on the cover of British Vogue, but alas, she still kept mum on the name. What she did confess, though, was how she called her own mother “in floods of tears” the moment she found out she was carrying a girl.
“I was like, ‘Oh, my God, am I going to have to go through what [you] went through with me?’ I was just such a little b—h,” Suki recalled. “[My mum] usually loves telling my terrible teenage stories, but she was like, ‘No, no, you were great. You were amazing, you were fine.’”
Constance Wu
The Crazy Rich Asians actress, 43, was able to hide her first pregnancy during the pandemic lockdowns in 2020.

“That part was easy. But then I had another one”, she admitted on Live with Kelly and Mark, without detailing what she’d named her first child, a daughter, or her second, a son who arrived in 2023.
She broke the news of her son’s arrival while on the PRETTYSMART podcast that same year. “Breaking news. Nobody knew I had a son,” she joked.
