Princess Charlotte changed up her hairstyle during the Trooping the Colour celebrations on Saturday, and we almost missed it!

OK, so we presume it was her mum, Kate Middleton who made the swift style change to her daughter’s hair rather than Charlotte herself, but the little princess couldn’t have looked much cuter in either style.
Eagle-eyed royal watchers would have noticed Charlotte, 4, wearing her hair pulled back in a half-up style, with a blue ribbon tied in a bow on top of her head, as she peeked out of the windows of Buckingham Palace with her brothers Prince George, 5, and Prince Louis, 1.
However, her hairstyle had changed by the time the royal family emerged onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF flypast.
By this point, the princess was wearing her hair in two braids that met in the middle, and were tied together with that familiar blue ribbon.
Charlotte’s last minute hairstyle change was most likely done by mum Kate, as according to her dad, Prince William, he’s not one for styling his little girl’s hair.
“Never try to do a ponytail. Nightmare,” William has said in the past.
