She’s fallen in love and had her heart crushed – all before the nation’s eyes. But no matter how tumultuous Sam Frost’s dating life has gotten over the years, we’re all obsessed with the stunning former Home And Away star finally getting her happy ending.

Now that she’s happily loved-up with Australian Survivor star Jordie Hansen, we can’t help but think back to Sam’s previous dating history.
Before she and Jordie announced their engagement and more recently shared the news they’re expecting their first child together, Sam had a string of other high-profile boyfriends.
So, who are the lucky men who have been in and out of Sam’s dating life? Scroll on through to meet Sam’s former flames.
Blake Garvey
Blake Garvey picked Sam Frost in the season two finale of The Bachelor, before swiftly becoming Australia’s most hated man when he dumped her for the second runner-up Louise Pillidge soon after the episode went to air.
Sam got the last laugh though, when the jilted reality star went on to be the country’s inaugural Bachelorette. Meanwhile, Blake and Louise called time on their romance in April 2016.
Sasha Mielczarek
Hearts melted when Sam Frost picked the ruggedly handsome Sasha Mielczarek in The Bachelorette finale in 2015.
However, the fairytale ending wasn’t to last and they announced the end of their high-profile romance 18 months later.
Nowadays, Sasha is enjoying a fairytale love story of his own, having recently gotten engaged to long-term partner Carly Cottam.
Paul O’Brien
Before she appeared on The Bachelor, Sam dated former Home and Away star Paul O’Brien way back in 2011.
He later slammed her casting on the same soap on which he starred, admitting he could see why some actors would be frustrated.
Dane Rampe
It’s a classic case of did they or didn’t they?
In early 2015 after saying she was dating Sydney Swans player Dane Rampe, Sam reneged on her claim. The radio star took to social media to share her statement, holding a chalkboard which read: “Sometimes we make stupid decisions … I think it’s called being human.”
Dave Bashford
In mid-2017, Sam confirmed she was dating longtime friend Dave Bashford. The pair kept their romance relatively private for the-almost three years that they were together, occasionally sharing loved-up snaps on Instagram. Sadly, in July 2020, a rep for Sam confirmed these two had officially split.
“Sam Frost and Dave Bashford are no longer in a relationship. They remain great mates,” the spokesperson said.
The pair rekindled their romance in December 2020, after teasing on social media for months that they had gotten back together. However, it wasn’t to last, and the pair soon called it off once more.
Tim Franklin
During her and Dave’s break, rumours swirled that Sam and her Home And Away co-star Tim Franklin, who plays popular policeman Colby on the hit soap, turned their on-screen romance into real life love.

“They’ve been seeing each other in secret for months, but Sam’s wanted it kept on the down low after the horrendous split with Dave [Bashford] last year,” a Home And Away insider told Woman’s Day of Sam and Tim’s secret love affair.
“She’s smitten, and she really wants them to be the next big TV couple.”
However, the rumours didn’t amount to much, given Sam appeared to get back with Dave shortly after.
Jay Bruno
Sam briefly dated Instant Hotel alum Jay Bruno in 2021, but the two kept things very private.
When he moved into her place during Sydney’s lockdown, she stated he was just a good friend, and that they had become housemates.
Although the pair were papped together, the first proper confirmation of the romance was the end of it.
“It is pretty simple, I just guess I couldn’t see a future with her,” Jay told Sydney Confidential while doing press for his stint on Australian Survivor.
“It is never easy to stay friends with someone you dated and I broke up with her so I think it would be unfair for me to hover around and confuse her.
“I have kept my distance. It is obviously hard because you feel for the other person but people just break up sometimes and I didn’t want to lead her on so I have moved on,” Jay revealed.
Jay joined Survivor for its 2022 season, Blood V Water, where contestants had to bring a close friend or family member to compete with. He took Sam’s younger brother, Alex, onto the show with him, claiming that “I had to have someone that was close to family and at the time he was”.
Despite Sam’s breakup with Jay, the Survivor season ended up being a great thing for Sam.
Jordie Hansen
Sam met her current beau, Jordie Hansen, through her brother Alex, after the pair starred on Survivor together.
While promoting her new book, Believe, Sam made mention that she was dating someone new, and that they were younger.
“He’s friends with my brother,” she admitted to Fitzy and Wippa on their radio show.
“I called my brother up and I said, ‘so, is he single or what?’ He’s like ‘oh, don’t be weird … that’s so embarrassing’,” Sam recalled.
She revealed that it was Jordie via Instagram, including him in the posts she shared for her 33rd birthday in early April and just a few months later the couple announced they were engaged.
Jordie revealed on their podcast in July 2022: “We were at Uluru, we’d just woken up, having brekky, we were about to head back down south. Sambo had just been delivered her coffee and so I said to her ‘When would you say yes to getting married?'”
Sam responded “pretty much anytime from now” and Jordie made the spontaneous decision to propse the very same day, getting down on one knee at The Breakaways near Coober Pedy at sunset.
Then in September 2022 they had more exciting news to share; they were going to be parents! We can’t wait for their bub to arrive.
