Once William moved out, Harry moved in and it’s been the Prince’s home ever since. He even proposed to Meghan within the walls of ‘Nott Cott’ over a very romantic home cooked roast chicken.

So, where do Harry and Meghan live?

Nottingham Cottage was given to Prince Harry by the Queen and it’s been Harry and Meghan’s day-to-day residence since their engagement in 2017.

But they only stay here when they’re in London.

While filming Suits, Meghan lived in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house at 10 Yarmouth Road in Toronto (where the show was filmed). Frogmore Cottage

Despite having two perfectly suitable places to stay, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, is set to become Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s main residence and is currently undergoing a $5million renovation. The property was a gift from the Queen.

It’s where Harry and Meghan had their evening wedding reception after getting married in St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Once they move in, it will no doubt become a regular venue for the couple’s A-list dinner parties.

What will happen when the Queen dies?

When Queen Elizabeth II passes away, Prince Charles will become King and Prince William will be next in line to the throne and that could change the royal housing situation.

Prince Charles currently resides at Clarence House and would likely move into Buckingham Palace (where the Queen currently lives). With Charles vacating Clarence, William and Kate would potentially move in which would leave 1A Kensington Palace vacant.

Whether Harry and Meghan would move into the 20-room residence is uncertain as so far they seem to have made their own choices about where to live.
