Each farmer was forced to sit down with a new woman and decide whether to invite her back to his property, where the rest of his suitors were waiting.

Unsurprisingly, the women were all quite shocked by this revelation, especially those on Farmer Zac’s farm who had just breathed a sigh of relief after he sent Miranda home for causing so much drama among the women.

At Farmer Dylan’s house, the girls were stunned that the new girl would get a first date before Renae, who had patiently been waiting for solo time since the show began.

The girls joked that they’d attempt to scare her off, with Ally saying, “I’m not intimidated by the girl, I’m more concerned about what Dylan decides to do.”

‘I was dead against it’

Speaking with WHO, Farmer Dylan revealed his first thought to the producers when he heard about the intruders was, “If I’m dead honest, I was just like, ‘Why would you do this?'”

“I was dead against it, I was like, ‘Nah, I’ve got all these girls, and they’re all great to me, I’m not bringing anyone else back!”

Farmer Zac also told us that he was already feeling the pressure before the twist was dropped. “I was already struggling with all the ladies on the farm and trying to form connections, and then it was adding an intruder into it,” he said, sharing that he felt “a bit of panic, a bit of excitement,” but mostly didn’t know what to think until he actually met her.

“I just knew it was another thing to worry about, I guess,” Zac shared.

Dylan added that the timing couldn’t have been tougher.

“It makes it so difficult, because it’s like you’ve just formed these connections, and then you’re about to meet someone else, and this makes it tricky,” he said.

However, he admitted to feeling conflicted because he trusted his family’s judgment, adding, “If they’ve picked her, then there’s obviously something there that they think is right.”

‘It would probably hurt some ladies’ feelings’

Zac’s mum chose a girl called Asha as his intruder, while Dylan’s grandparents chose a girl called Keeley.

“Mum’s opinion – it does matter a lot, she’s got a very good sense of people,” Zac told the cameras. “She does know what she’s talking about.”

It turns out his Mum might be onto something, with the farmer then telling us that he was surprised at how easily the conversation flowed between him and Asha.

He explained that, despite the tension on the farm with the original girls, he knew that the person he wanted to be with would be able to handle it, whether it meant welcoming someone new into the group or being the new person in it.

“I knew it would probably hurt some ladies’ feelings, and obviously Maya has probably been going through a bit more than maybe a couple of the others, with the confrontation with Miranda, and that probably didn’t help where she was feeling at the time,” the apple farmer said.

In the end, both farmers brought their intruders home to get to know them better, with Dylan sharing that he had brought Keeley back specifically because he felt he hadn’t “given her a fair chance”.

“It wouldn’t have been right for me to not bring her back, because I went in without really giving her a fair chance, because my guard was up.”
