In case Farmer Alex couldn’t make it more abundantly obvious that he’s hot for Eddy, a massive Farmer Wants A Wife spoiler has surfaced online that reveals exactly who the beef and mushroom farmer picks.
But let’s backtrack for a moment. This week on Farmer Wants A Wife, Alex continued to be all about Eddy, his frontrunner from the very start.
After deciding not to bring intruder Madison back to the farm, Alex’s remaining women — Eddy, Suzannah and Rachel — were relieved.
Eddy then pulled him aside and admitted, “I am starting to really like you,” with Alex telling her he’d thought about her “most of the day” and didn’t want to bring Madison back because he “just wanted to see” Eddy. They then shared a big romantic kiss, which didn’t go unnoticed by Rachel.
At the country fair, Alex told the other farmers that Eddy had been “standing out since the beginning,” adding: “Every day with her is a good one… She’s special.” He then picked Eddy for a solo date… again.
Rachel later confronted Alex about being too ‘tunnel-visioned’ with Eddy. “You say one thing, but your actions say something else,” Rachel told Alex. “Time is being wasted.”
Despite it not being an elimination episode, Alex suddenly sent home Suzannah on Monday night’s episode, leaving only Eddy and Rachel to compete for his affections. But is it already game over? Spoilers ahead, folks!
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed in a FWAW Facebook group that in next week’s TV Guide, it plainly states that Alex ‘makes a tough call’ by ‘letting go of Rachel’ and picking Eddy.
In a teaser and later confirmed by Seven, it says that “one farmer will leave the show” next week. Given that all the farmers are still juggling multiple connections and straddling conflicting feelings for at least two women on each farm, it seems more than likely that the farmer leaving the show would be Alex.
This revelation, paired with the TV Guide information, suggests that Farmer Alex and Eddy are set to leave the show together next week.

The TV Guide spoiler comes as Alex has been not-so-subtle about who he picks in his interviews. Speaking to WHO, he shared how ‘unpleasant’ it would be for Rachel and Suzannah to watch his connection with Eddy unfold on screen.
“I didn’t get a chance to really get to know how resilient and how thick each of their skins were… so I would hope the girls are OK, and I’m sure they’ve all got great support networks,” he admitted. Ooft, doesn’t sound promising for Rachel’s fate, hey.
The spoiler also lines up with another internet theory claiming that Alex picks Eddy as his winner on Farmer Wants A Wife.
According to Chattr, one of the biggest hints is Alex’s Instagram activity, with the farmer reportedly following Eddy’s brother, Will Fry. This suggests Alex may have built a connection not just with Eddy, but with the people closest to her after filming wrapped.
Of course, none of this is all that surprising. Eddy has been the clear frontrunner from early on, with Alex repeatedly gravitating back to her.
Let’s just hope that their love story survived all this online speculation because, given just how messy this FWAW season has been, we need a happy ending.
