EXCLUSIVE: Farmer Wants A Wife’s Miranda claims she was sabotaged in unaired footage before elimination

The controversial influencer tells WHO she suspects foul play.
Was Miranda eliminated by Zac on Farmer Wants A Wife

Miranda Chopping came, saw and not-quite-conquered Farmer Wants A Wife, with this drama-magnet being ejected from Farmer Zac‘s farm on Sunday night.

It began with a silent car ride to a painfully awkward rock-climbing double date between Miranda, Maya and Zac, and ended with Farmer Zac asking Miranda to leave his farm. Oop!

“Being open and honest is my biggest thing,” Farmer Zac told the dinner table of women. “Some things I can’t look past... sorry to say that, Miranda, I can’t go any further from here.”

The 21-year-old Instagram model looked shocked by the decision. “Okay, do I go?” she awkwardly replied, as Zac asked to get her luggage for a swift exit.

In a confessional, Zac said he ‘didn’t agree’ with Miranda’s behaviour because she was “passive-aggressive towards Maya.”

In her final confessional, Miranda unleashed on Zac. “I have no respect for him for believing what other girls have said. I think it’s stupid,” she said to the camera.

Miranda claims unaired footage could reveal the truth

In an interview with WHO, Miranda said that she believes she was “100 per cent” sabotaged by Maya, who had confided in Zac’s sister, Isobel, that Miranda was ‘mean’ and ‘materialistic’.

“I think she was intimidated by me and Zac’s connection, and just me as a person,” Miranda said. “I think she just felt a little bit threatened in the whole situation, but I just… I don’t understand how she went behind my back.”

Miranda questioned the timing of Maya speaking to Zac’s sister, as it followed Miranda and Zac getting closer on their first solo date. “The girls planned that, and they got what they wanted,” she said.

The 21-year-old Queenslander went on to say that unaired footage sheds more light on what really happened. “Maya and I obviously spoke more, and there is a lot behind the scenes that isn’t shown,” she said.

In an unaired moment, Miranda claims that the girls reached a truce before the double date to ensure everything was smoothed over.

“I said it was a ‘forgive but not forget’ situation that morning before the double date. I sat down with the girls at the table and told them that we needed to be civil because we weren’t going to be living in a house with all five of us and not speak,” she said.

“We just said we’d be on civil terms and leave it at that. But I still had in the back of my mind what Maya did.”

Miranda says her Farmer Wants A Wife elimination was ‘unfair’

Months after filming wrapped, Miranda still believes that Zac sending her home was ‘unfair’ as he didn’t see her side.

“I think it was completely unfair, and with the whole situation with Maya, I think it would have been potentially a different outcome if she didn’t go behind my back and spread information about me,” Miranda said.

“It was just frustrating knowing I was going home when I potentially shouldn’t have been.”

The experience made her distrust the women on the show. “I can’t trust anyone, and these girls aren’t really my friends,” she said. “I just tried to keep to myself anyway, and just worry about Zac.”

The unseen ‘double standard’ on Farmer Zac’s farm

Miranda went on to say that she thought there was a double standard between the women competing for Zac, as she claimed they all spoke behind each other’s backs, but only Miranda was held accountable for it.

“I obviously went home because I was speaking about someone behind their back, but Maya was literally doing the same, Grace was doing the same, Mieke was doing the same. I’m the only one who got the consequences for it,” she said.

“It got blown very out of proportion. Mieke literally said that she [Maya] was trying way too hard as well at the Country Ball, and then Grace obviously went behind my back to say something, and if Grace had that much of an issue, why did she not say something in the moment? I think it’s all a bit pathetic.”

Miranda shares where she stands with Farmer Zac now

There is no love lost between Miranda and Farmer Zac since her unceremonious departure from his farm. “We haven’t had contact, to be honest,” Miranda said. “I haven’t really spoken to him since I left the farm.”

Miranda hopes that, in hindsight, Zac regrets his decision to eliminate her. “I hope that when he watches, he can look back and realise I wasn’t the only one spreading things about other people,” she said.

“Hopefully, he can see how immature the other girls are, and maybe realise he made the wrong decision.”
