“Forget the image, forget the rumours”, says Mariah Carey, the diva is opening up her life to cameras. The songstress hopes to debunk a few myths about her, namely that she is Cinderella, in her own words, “My life has not been a fairytale.”
The 8 part series produced by E! will be an all access pass to Mariah’s current world tour, Sweet Sweet Fantasy.
Although fiancé James Packer is unlikely to be featured on the show, Mariah’s World is an extensive look at the intense preparation the diva goes through to put on a show.
The 46 year old is one of the biggest selling recording artists of all time, and does admit to a few strange tendencies on the trailer.
“I have a rule which states that I will not be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses.”
Always one to make an entrance, the future Mrs. Packer arrived on the NBCUniversal stage to promote the upcoming series, carried on a golden lounge by two very muscular, shirtless men.
Being carried does avoid the occupational hazard of tripping in heels, which occurred, earlier on the red carpet.
