The Australian model and TV presenter is known for taking a stand when it comes to matters of the heart – and that includes hitting back at those who criticised her recent Logies outfit.

It started when radio host Kate Langbroek posted a photo of Campbell wearing the Camilla and Marc leotard and overlay on her instagram and writing “#desperate (for pants.)

Campbell then called Langbroek out, saying “Woah, nasty! Hope you enjoying watching and critiquing from your couch.”

On her own Instagram page, the 24-year-old then went onto explain that she was inspired to wear the see-through netted dress after meeting Iranian designer Tala Raise, who was lashed and thrown in jail after wearing a skirt.

“Being able to chose what you want to wear as a woman is a freedom that not all women have access to,” the former Miss Universe Australia wrote.

“Every day that I get up I am grateful that I can choose whatever the hell I want to wear without fear of punishment or violence or imprisonment.”

When talking to WHO on the Logies red carpet on Sunday May 8, Campbell, said she loved her outfit choice because it was “different.” But she admitted fiancé, AFL player Lance Franklin was a bit “unsure.”

“But I don’t give him fashion advice and he doesn’t give me fashion advice,” the Gold-Coast raised beauty laughed.
