Julia Vogl could be this season of MAFS’ most intriguing contestant. She’s lived in London, interviewed celebrities and started her own business as a confidence coach.
But as she prepared to marry who we now know to be Grayson McIvor, Julia, 35, admitted that she’s not sure she will be matched with a man or a woman.
Glamorous career
In her former days, Julia worked as a journalist and entertainment correspondent for newspapers not only in Australia but also in the UK and Indonesia as well as shows like The Project on Channel Ten.
She’s even interviewed big names such as Cher, Harrison Ford, Kate Winslet and Matthew McConaughey so she’s no stranger to the A-list life!
These days, however, Julia is based in Melbourne and works as a confidence coach for her company Talk Is Cheap. Teaching her clients confidence, charisma and media trainings “with a twist”, she runs online and in-person workshops, programs and experiences.
Bisexual bride
Open to dating both men and women, Julia identifies as bisexual.
“I don’t know if I’m going to be matched with a man or a woman,” her voiceover says in one of the show’s trailers.
However her special someone has to have “it”, which she describes as that secret sauce you feel straight away and just know you share something special.
The 35-year-old has had four serious relationships, three with women and with a man and confessed she struggles to find the whole package with either sex.
As for her ideal person? They have to be in touch with their emotions, effortlessly cool with a sharp wit, a secure attachment style and eager to live outside the box.
