Pregnant Kate Middleton Gives Equal Time to Both, Keeps Everyone Guessing

Pink or Head-to-Toe Blue?

Could Kate Middleton‘s new all-blue ensemble mean she’s expecting a boy?

Not likely, considering the fact that she wore a bright pink coat only last week.

Princess Kate, 36, stepped out in London on Tuesday wearing blue from head-to-toe, including a Séraphine maternity dress, Sportmax coat, patterned scarf and earrings that were a near exact match of her sapphire engagement ring. She wore the all-blue outfit for a visit to Roe Green Junior School in London, where she gave a speech about the importance of prioritising children’s mental health.

But don’t be fooled into thinking the blue is a hint at the sex of her third baby, which she and Prince William are set to welcome to the family in April. Kate has been wearing plenty of pink, too, including a bright pink coat just last week for a day of engagements in Coventry.

For both of her pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the public didn’t find out the sex of the royal babies until after they were born. And with her wide variety of coat colours, it seems she’s taking the same route this time around (and won’t be dropping any hints before then!).

The arrival of William and Kate’s third child is just one of many high-profile events for the royal family in 2018: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to marry on May 19, Zara and Mike Tindall are expecting their second child, and just yesterday, William and Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank.
