Married At First Sight star KC Osborne has posted an emotional speech to her Instagram page, explaining her struggle to handle ‘haters’ on the platform.
“I just woke up to so much hate … so much hate because I’m fake, apparently,” she tearfully told the camera.
Last week, the influencer posted a video to her Instagram promoting a range of beauty products. She was inundated by trolling and claims that she wasn’t really using the product, even though it was a clear gel that applied transparently.
“This clear gel that I applied on my skin, apparently I don’t use and I was just promoting it just for the money, because people really thought I wasn’t applying it to my skin. It’s clear,” she explained, showing the gel on her finger.
“It’s just an example that things aren’t always what they seem on social media,” she added.
She continued to say that this was often the case with the abuse she received on Instagram, and went on to take a swing at her trolls.
“For years people say things to you and it gets into your head and you believe the things that people say… For the people that are saying these awful things – just stop it, you don’t know us,” she implored.
KC finished up the chat with a challenge to her haters.
“Instead of being that person that goes and hates, why don’t you be that person that encourages someone today?”
The dancer and performer was supported by her reported partner, fellow MAFS star Jason Engler.
“I think you’re amazing inside and out,” his comment read.
The couple, who were rumoured to be dating last month, have appeared to go Instagram official in the last few weeks.
Speculation began when eagle-eyed fans noticed the pair flirting in the comments of each other’s posts.
Jason was then spotted in the background of KC’s stories in May.

They have now shared a number of cute snaps and stories of each other.
Another MAFS cast member, Bryce Ruthven, also gave KC his support.
“Many idiots out there on social media unfortunately … haters are simply jealous of others happiness,” he commented.
