Bec Zacharia is one of the most vibrant and sharp-witted brides on this season of Married At First Sight.
In the first episode she had a near-confrontation with fellow bride Gia Fleur and it’s looking rocky with husband Danny Hewitt.
But after her wedding episode, MAFS fans were convinced that Bec has a famous Aussie celebrity lookalike.
The celebrity everyone thinks Bec Zacharia looks like
After watching her walk down the aisle to meet husband Danny Hewitt, MAFS viewers remarked that Bec is the spitting image of Love Island Australia host and all-round national treasure, Sophie Monk.
“She reminds me so much of Sophie Monk,” one fan mused on social media.
“Omg she sounds so much like Sophie Monk!” exclaimed another, whilst a third penned, “I love her she reminds me of Sophie Monk hilarious, looks and sounds like her too.”
Yep, we totally see it!
Bec’s past life
Despite her outgoing attitude, Bec shared her insecurities when it comes to her looks. She confessed she lost a significant amount of weight after calling off her wedding with her ex.
“My ex fiancé’s a lovely person but he wasn’t my person,” she mused in episode three ahead of her wedding.
“I had reservations about getting married and I thought that the kindest thing to do would be to end that engagement. The reality is I knew that I could marry that person, but I also knew that we would end up being divorced so it was the toughest thing I’ve ever done.”
“Since then I’ve worked on my mind, I’ve worked on my body, I’ve worked on my health and I’ve lost about 20 kilos, maybe a little bit more now.
“Growing up I was always the chubby one and there was not a lot of self love going on. My friends are all beautiful and skinny and I was never that. I don’t think I’m a 10 out of 10 by any means at all, but I definitely walk through life now thinking and feeling that I’m beautiful and I’ve never felt beautiful before.”
Are Bec and Danny still together?
Despite having one of the funniest and most light-hearted weddings of the MAFS 2026 series so far, it’s not looking like a happily ever after for these two.
“I can just feel it, it’s not going to work,” Bec mused after the wedding.
However the couple patched things up and even slept together on their honeymoon, but Danny told Bec and the experts that he “didn’t feel any chemistry” with his new wife, and that he sees her as more of a “friend.”
