A star was born on Tuesday, when the MAFS favourite shared a clip of himself singing Lady Gaga’s Shallow to his Instagram page.
“Facing the fear. For the second time,” he captioned the stellar performance.
“My singing teacher convinced me to sing in front of an audience.” And we’re so glad they did!
While his castmates are still stirring up drama on the show that made him a household name, Matt is overcoming some of his biggest fears.
“[Performing] still causes me huge anxiety, my leg shakes uncontrollably so I keep tapping it, and I keep my eyes closed more often than open so I don’t have to see all the people looking at me. But I didn’t forget any words this time. And there were moments where I got lost in the song, which is an amazing feeling. Hopefully this is something that gets easier with time.”
