Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber have been teasing their Carpool Karaoke episode for weeks. And in the most recent snippet, Miley Cyrus makes an appearance!
The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer, who snuck into the back seat for a sing-along, revealed that she and Baldwin don’t have the best track record.
“I would be evil to her,” Miley admitted, saying that she and Hailey’s older sister used to bully Hailey when she was little. “She would try to play with us, like me and Alaia, and then we would lock her out of the room and be evil.”
Miley later joked that she was preparing Hailey for future stardom.
“I had to. It made you who you are, you know? It made you stronger,” she explains. “Now you can always take like…the trolls and shit. ‘Cause I was such a troll.”
Despite Miley’s best efforts, earlier this week Hailey—who received flak for changing her surname from Baldwin to Bieber— admitted that the constant online hate she’s received since marrying Justin Bieber has been so severe, it’s taken a toll on her mental health.
“It’s hard to focus on your well being and mental health when each time you open Instagram someone is tearing apart your job, or your relationship or essentially any of the things in your life that are positive,” she wrote. “I just don’t believe we’re called to live a life where we’re so easily caught up in strangers opinions on something they have NOTHING to do with.”
