MTV has announced the news that any pop-music lover of the 90s has been waiting for!
The network will debut a revamped version of TRL, officially known Total Request Live, this October.
Once again the entertainment program will be broadcast from a studio in Times Square, according to MTV president Chris McCarthy who told the New York Times.
While original host Carson Daly will not be featured, a number of hosts will partake in the special.
TRL aired between which ran between 1998 and 2008, at a time when artists such asDestiny’s Child, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, *NSYNC,blink-182, Korn, and Limp Bizkit, among others, were at their career peaks. The show included viewer requested videos daily.
