Meet the passionate cooks battling it out to take home $250,000 as well as the title of MKR Champions for 2019.
Ibby & Romel
Perhaps the most controversial team to be announced thus far, it appears Ibby and Romel are harbouring a secret… From the short promo clip and everyone’s shocking facial expressions, what they are about to expose will to be jaw-dropping!
“They’re definitely hiding something,” one contestant said, with another adding, “They haven’t been honest.”
Bring on the DRAMA!
Josh & Austin
Known by the other contestants as the “dinner party terrorists,” the outspoken homeschooled brothers will no doubt cause quite the stir this season, with judge Manu Feildel even claiming he was “so, so disappointed” in them!
Ash & Stacey
Ash and Stacey are a couple – with a twist. Ash only has one eye.
“I was at party and two blokes were fighting,” he tells his fellow teammates. “I tried to push everyone apart and calm the situation down. The guy tried to hit the other guy with a glass but got me in the eye.”
“The doctors kept giving me operations which kept me out of the surf and that was making me crazy. I said, ‘Get my eye out. I want to be back in the water.'”
Speaking about his partner, he joked, “I think she’s into pirates!”
Drama is certainly in store, with Stacey slicing her finger. Thankfully Ash has her in giggles, joking, “If I can do it with one eye you can do it with one finger.
Matt & Luke
So far, we know that Matt and Luke are best mates, who share a passion for food and cricket! They’re on a mission to prove that your every day Aussie can make a delicious meal. Their back story is yet to be revealed.
Veronica & Piper
They might be prim and propper, but Veronica and Piper have their eye on the prize. From how it looks on the plate, to what temperature the meat is cooked at, everything has to be PERFECT!
Milly & Karolina
There was one thing holding Milly and Karolina back from pursuing their MKR cooking dreams… a partner to enter the competition with. In a daring move, the pair, who have never cooked together, or even met, will join forces for the tenth season…
