Inside The Pitt star Noah Wyle’s blended family

Noah Wyle returned to the Golden Globes after 25 years on Sunday night.

The actor, who is best known these days for his role as Dr. Bobby in The Pitt, first attended the awards back in 1995.

And although he is currently everyone’s favourite TV bachelor- he attended the Globes with his wife Sara Wells.

Noah has been married to fellow actor Sara Wells since June 2014.

Marking their anniversary last summer, she posted on Instagram, gushing: “11 years and there’s still no one who makes me laugh quite like you. Happy Anniversary @therealnoahwyle.”

The couple share one daughter together, Frances, who was born in 2015.

Noah was previously married to Tracy Warbin for 10 years.

The former couple welcomed their son, Owen, in 2002, and daughter, Auden, in 2005.

Tracy is a producer, known for Sling Blade (1996), Kids (1995) and The Cat Returns (2002).

Noah revealed that the types of roles he accepted changed after he became a father.

“My tastes changed radically after my son was born,” the actor told PEOPLE. “After I was a father, I suddenly was very conscious of the things that my kids would be watching their father do or say.”

He added, “It curbed some of my impulses… You know, I’d rather play good guys.”

Noah also shared the sweet meaning behind his eldest two children’s names saying: “Owen shares my middle name, Strausser, and Auden was named after Pulitzer Prize-winning poet W.H. Auden.”

In 1995, 23-year-old Noah Wyle made his first appearance at the Golden Globes after ER was nominated for Best Television Series (Drama) that year.

In 1997, 1998, and 1999, Noah also earned nods for Best Supporting Actor.

However, the actor won big on Sunday night when his role as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch on The Pitt. He won Best Actor in a TV Drama Series.

The critically acclaimed show also took home the award for Best TV Drama Series.
