It's never to late to get hooked on 'Power'

Following Season 4’s deadly climax, there is major fallout for Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and his inner circle in the fifth season of crime drama Power, which streams on Stan and is now out on DVD. Watch the trailer below.

The most significant thing for Ghost and his family to deal with is the death of daughter Raina (Donshea Hopkins), a loss that casts a dark shadow over the season. As the authorities gather evidence to expose Ghost’s identity and criminal activities, his tenuous alliance with Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and Kanan (50 Cent) also keeps him on his toes.

While Power has a huge following in the US – it is the most-watched show on the Starz network – in Australia, it flies under the radar, but Season 5 provides great pay-off for those prepared to make the viewing investment. (Out now on DVD) 3.5 stars
