Is Pretty Woman: The Musical coming to Australia?
Yes! The stage adaptation (which has already wowed audiences on Broadway and in the West End) will come to Brisbane at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) in October 2025, before moving to the Theatre Royal Sydney in November 2025.
Who’s playing Vivian?
Stepping into the thigh-high boots is X Factor alum Samantha Jade.

While she’s no stranger to a stage – having toured with everyone from One Direction to the Backstreet Boys – this marks her first major musical theatre role.
“This is a dream role for me. Such a beloved film that is a favourite of so many worldwide and I’m delighted to be able to originate the role for Australian audiences,” Samantha said in a statement.
Further casting announcements – like who will play Edward, the character first portrayed by Richard Gere – will be made in the coming weeks.
