Big Brother 2026 has served fans non-stop surprises. From early evictions to banning dinner, the contestants are starting to crack, and it’s making for some incredible entertainment.
However, even if Big Brother didn’t throw the occasional spanner in the works, it’s safe to say the housemates this year would still be causing chaos, as a major fight has broken out every week so far.
This week, it’s been Anita and Ebony clashing non-stop, as Anita spoke up after growing tired of trying to get her voice heard during group discussions.
This caused Ebony to snap back and tell Anita that she “always tries to speak up at the worst times”, and after Anita tried to contribute by telling everyone to just “be themselves”, Ebony rolled her eyes and left the table.
Anita then walked over to Ebony to tell her off for being “disrespectful”, leading to a major clash that divided the house.
At home, fans are also divided over who to side with.
Speaking to WHO, evicted housemate Pam weighed in on their clash, giving some insight into Anita’s character and whether she has what it takes to win the competition.

Team Ebony or Team Anita? Fans are divided.
While other fights on Big Brother Australia had fans leaning more to one side, this clash has fans truly divided.
For those siding with “Anita all the way”, viewers pointed out that Ebony has been the common thread in a lot of the arguments this season.
“Anita, tonight made me want to see more of that side,” one fan wrote online. “Loved the way she stood up to Ebony. Made me wish I saved her this week. Ebony is a bully. She name-calls SO MUCH, but BB sugarcoats and edits so much of Ebony’s toxic behaviour.
“If you actually watch the live clips, you’ll see she’s 10x worse unfiltered. I hope more housemates call her out.”
“As much as I didn’t like Anita to start with, she is growing on me so team Anita,” another agreed.
However, those siding with Ebony have pointed to Anita’s immaturity.
“Team Ebony, because a 47-year-old shouldn’t aggressively walk towards [someone] just because they aren’t listening to them, please grow the f–k up,” one viewer commented online. “Secondly, the way Anita talks to Austin is sometimes so inappropriate, even if it’s a joke.”
“Ebony has been real all this time,” they continued. “She is young and learning new things at the same time. Also, yes, Ebony was being rude, but she handled that so well.”
“Anita is irritating to watch,” another fan agreed. “Ebony was 100% right in what she said about Anita. She’s a f–king oddball and says stupid s–t. Name-dropping her sister? Nobody gives a s–t.”
Some viewers have even decided to opt out of the drama completely, arguing that “both need to go”.
Evicted housemate Pam reveals why Anita won’t win
Pam was suddenly evicted from the house this week after a brutal game of pass-the-parcel. While she didn’t get a chance to see Anita and Ebony’s fight fully break out in the house, she did grow close with Anita and bond with her over their shared Big Brother alumni connection.
Pam’s son Kieran Davidson competed in season 12 of Big Brother Australia in 2020. Reggie Bird, a two-time winner of the reality TV show, is Anita’s sister.
When Anita told Pam that Reggie Bird was her sister, Pam told WHO that she immediately “hugged her and said, ‘Oh my God, I can now see it in your face. You look just like Reggie!'”
“I had watched Reggie in her seasons, in both seasons that she was on, and I thought, ‘Wow, you really look like her. I can see it now.'”
Pam also confessed that “Anita is a lovely soul” and “just a beautiful person”.
“I’m not sure she’s going to win, but she’s definitely got a heart of gold and has had quite a difficult background as well there,” she admitted. “She shared a few things with me, and I thought, ‘Well, yeah, you’re doing quite well in here’, as there have been a few things there that have been hard for her.
“I think she did go around and share it individually with people that she built a bit of trust with once she’d been in the game for a bit, but she didn’t just do a public announcement about her life, which I thought was quite fitting, really.”
As fans pick sides while the feud continues to unfold, Pam’s reflections on being in the house are a reminder of what Big Brother is all about: connecting with everyday people and remembering that, at the end of the day, everyone is different, and everyone is human.
Sure, a fight certainly makes for some great reality TV entertainment, but maybe let’s keep the name-calling to the contestants, rather than social media.
