There are many big personalities in the Big Brother house this year, but none more so than Ebony.

The 23-year-old entrepreneur has been rubbing almost all of the housemates the wrong way and has consistently clashed with Anita so far, with feud after feud between the two dominating the season.

While there has been backlash against both contestants, the online hate has been pretty intense on Ebony, with viewers calling her everything from “rude”, “bratty” and “downright disrespectful”.

However, newly evicted housemate Pam has stepped in to bat for her, telling WHO why she actually really likes her.

Pam defends Ebony as conflict gets ‘nasty’ between her and Anita

This week, Anita spoke up after growing tired of trying to get her voice heard during group discussions.

This caused Ebony to snap back and tell Anita that she “always tries to speak up at the worst times”, and after Anita tried to contribute by telling everyone to just “be themselves”, Ebony rolled her eyes and left the table.

Anita then walked over to Ebony to tell her off for being “disrespectful”, leading to a major clash that divided the house.

Online, people were calling Ebony “nasty” and saying that she was abusing her power as the Head Housemate; however, Pam reckons she made a really good one.

“I actually thought she’d done quite a good job of being Head of [the] House and actually keeping people in order,” Pam told WHO. “It needs some structure and order. I thought she was doing quite a good job.”

However, she did admit that she also didn’t like her to begin with.

“In the first week, I just thought, well, what have we got here? You know, she was calling people names, and she was demeaning people.”

After “warming” to her, she believes she has good qualities and backed the public’s decision to make her Head of the House, even though it only provoked more drama.
