Former ‘All stars’ winner David Genat will be the new host of this season, replacing Jonathan LaPaglia and promising non-stop action and betrayal.
“I was in awe of the ruthless gameplay,” he revealed in the teaser for the show. “The players had something to prove, and they all wanted it. Nothing was going to get left out on the sand.”
While the new host promises fresh drama and first-hand experience of the game, fans have expressed concerns over the awkwardness of LaPaglia’s axing, and whether Genat will insert himself into the game.
