This season, 12 talented bakers from across Australia will enter the iconic Bake Off shed, each hoping to impress the judges with their creativity and skill. The judging panel features global culinary icon Rachel Khoo and Australia’s pastry maestro Darren Purchese, who will guide and critique the bakers throughout their journey. Hosting the show are comedians Natalie Tran and the late Cal Wilson, whose presence will be dearly missed. Cal appears in four episodes this season, bringing her unique blend of charisma and warmth to the Bake Off shed.

Meet the New Bakers in The Great Australian Bake Off Season 7
This season’s lineup features a diverse group of home baking enthusiasts, each bringing their own unique flair and background to the competition. Among the contestants is Adrian Barila, a 28-year-old theatre performer who blends his Italian heritage into his bakes, and Jaden Briggs, a proud Gunai Kurnai and Yorta Yorta man, who showcases bush tucker with native ingredients.
Laurina Bowlen, a 36-year-old 50s dress designer, is known for her sculptured fondant cakes that are sure to captivate both the judges and the audience. Other bakers hail from diverse backgrounds, including the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, and represent a wide range of professions, from bartending to nursing.
Each contestant will face a series of mouth-watering challenges, from desserts and cakes to biscuits, breads, and pastries, all in the hope of being crowned Australia’s best baker.
