Hey guys, settle in. The world just found out who killed Jason Blossom on Riverdale and it’s seriously intense. The episode just aired on the CW in the US, and will hit Netflix in Australia later this evening.
Clifford Blossom, Jason’s own father, was revealed as the killer in the penultimate episode. Dramatic, we know.
In the episode, Archie and Veronica prove that F.P., who was arrested and charged with Jason’s murder at the end of last week’s episode, had been framed, and that someone else was responsible for the murder.
With the help of Kevin’s boyfriend Joaquin, Archie and the gang find Jason’s varsity jacket near the town’s ancient maple syrup sign. After finding a USB drive, the group gather around a computer and plug in the drive, which has footage of Clifford pulling the trigger on his own son in the basement of The White Worm. The police show up to the Blossom home to arrest Clifford, and find he has hung himself in the barn. Also in the barn is a bunch of ‘maple syrup’ barrels that turn out to be barrels of drugs… which is suss.

ALSO, Betty Cooper discovers that her great grandfather wasn’t just murdered by the Blossom family, he WAS. A. BLOSSOM. The family broke up after the murder, giving way to a new name Cooper. Yes, this means that Betty and Cheryl are related and Polly and Jason were in an incestuous relationship without knowing it.
So… that happened, as did a bunch of other things, which you can find out when you watch the full episode on Netflix tonight.
