Sylvia Jeffreys and husband Peter Stefanovic are preparing to start a family of their own. Stefanovic, 36, opened up about the couple’s baby plans during a new interview with the Balls Deep podcast. “It’s something we both want to do,” the journalist revealed.
Adding, that the newlyweds who got married just 12-months-ago, are “not in any rush.”
“It’s something we both want to do. I feel I’d be missing out if we didn’t have a kid, but we’re both pretty busy with our work at the moment,” Pete said during the podcast.
He also confessed that while he is happy for Sylvia to keep her maiden name, his kids will take on his surname. “When we do have kids, they’ll be Stefanovics,” the news reporter remarked.
Sylvia and Peter got married in a stunning ceremony in Kangaroo Valley, NSW. The wedding was attended by their Today Show family of Lisa Wilkinson, Richard Wilkins and, of course, Pete’s brother Karl Stefanovic.
