The Kardashian Christmas party has been held on Christmas Eve every year since 1978 (except for a covid-cancellation in 2020).
In 2023, Khloe shared a bit more insight into the family tradition. “Our Christmas Eve party has been going on before I’ve been born,” she shared on Snapchat. “My mum has always put together this party, and it was always her thing. The older we got, we started to realise what a huge undertaking it is to throw a party…especially of this magnitude. “
“Christmas Eve has grown the more the family has grown,” she continued.” It’s now a huge soiree and we…subconsciously like to outdo ourselves from the year before.”
Why was there no Kardashian Christmas Eve bash this year?
This year, the family’s festivities looked a little different as Khloé Kardashian shared with her Instagram followers that the evening would be more low-key than in years past.
“We’re not having a big Christmas Eve party because we just celebrated my mom Kris’ 70th birthday,” Khloé, 41, said. “We wanted something more intimate with just family. But, of course, we’re still getting glammed up because that’s what we love to do.”
The Kardashian Christmas Eve party has long been a lavish affair, featuring elaborate décor, fashion-forward ensembles, and celebrity-worthy moments.
Last month, the family went all out for Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s estate, hosting a guest list that included Adele, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, and Bruno Mars. This year, however, the celebration was scaled down, offering a more intimate and family-focused holiday evening.
Who was at the intimate bash?
All of the Kardashian sisters went to Kendall’s house, including: Kim, Kylie, Khloe and Kourtney who shared a peek at holiday preparations, making the family’s traditional Beeshee dough.

Who was the best dressed?
It is tough to pick best dressed in one of the most stylish families in the world, but there are two top contenders this year- Kylie and Kim.
Kylie Jenner wore a black and white Galliano dress to the 2025 Kardashian Christmas Eve party.
In photos she shared on Instagram, the mum-of-two wows in a form-fitting gown from the fashion house, which she paired with an elaborate updo and dramatic makeup.
Kim arrived at her family’s intimate party wearing a vintage Thierry Mugler from the designer’s 1986 Hiver Russe collection. The All’s Fair accessorized with huge diamond earrings.
