The first House Rules elimination has taken place, and the team who lost their place in the contest have now taken a swipe at their rivals, accusing them of strategic scoring on the show.
WATCH: The shocking elimination that ruffled feathers
Mikaela and Eliza were eliminated from the competition on Monday night, after receiving the lowest score overall for the interior round and apartment challenge.
But the surfing sisters have now called out their rivals Shayn and Carly accusing them of cheating to stay in the competition.
“Everyone realised they weren’t going to give credit where credit is due,” Eliza told a local publication.
“I just feel it’s a bit immature and they’ve kind of shot themselves in the foot.”
Shayn and Carly were accused by the other contestants of strategic scoring, and not giving Pete and Courtney the correct score to reflect the room design.
Upon leaving the competition, the girls had nothing but good things to say of their time on the show.
“Just being able to give back is honestly the most rewarding thing ever. I know it’s a competition, but I wouldn’t change a thing,” Mikaela said.
Eliza added: “It is so sad to say goodbye, but I feel like we came here to give Mum a fresh start and we achieved that.”
