Married At First Sight has come under fire for being ‘fake’ and ‘completely scripted’.
Tuesday night’s episode saw Elizabeth confront Ines over her ‘affair’ with her ‘husband’ Sam.
However many fans believe the confrontation – as well as several other of the show’s plot lines – was ‘clearly set up.’
‘The fake Sam and Ines storyline is hilarious now. It’s clearly completely scripted and fake. Ines almost forgot one of her lines. So funny!’ one user wrote.
‘So fake!! Come on producers??? Can you do better than those fake dramas esp Ines and Sam!!! So stupid! In real life you just don’t sleep with a someone’s husband as quick as that!’ another added.
‘Seriously wtf has MAFS turned into !? Is it a reality show, a crap soap opera…it’s just staged is there anything ‘real’ about it?!’ said another.
Fans were also quick to pick up on a major editing fail during Tuesday’s show.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to notice that Ines woke up in Sam’s bed, wearing different coloured underwear to the night before.
‘How did Ines get a tooth brush, makeup wipes plus new white underwear to Sam’s apartment? Set up much?,’ adding hashtags including ‘paid actors’ and ‘this could be my last season,’ fumed one fan.
‘It’s so over dramatic it now seems so fake? Also old mate Ines was wearing black underwear last night and she wakes up with white underwear? Mmmm defs (sic) not staged right?!’ said another.
