Two episodes into The Bachelor for 2018 and Nick Cummins has had to dodge a kiss from a very confident bachelorette, Romy.
The photoshoot director from Queensland was given the second single date of the season, which was a perfect coincidence as she had previously announced that she wanted to steal the first kiss from the Honey Badger.
“I want to be the first girl to kiss Nick, I have dibs on him first,” she said. “The other girls better get out of the way.”
So when the pair had the chance to cuddle up together, the 29-year-old went “in hot, real hot” as Nick described it. But it was obvious that the rugby player wasn’t ready to give up the first kiss that easily.
“Only thing for me is that I like to hold off a bit and establish a real connection and try and make it more meaningful,” he said.

But Romy was on a mission, trying multiple times to lock lips, and Twitter was not happy:
When Romy and Nick returned to the mansion for the cocktail party, Romy proudly told the girls that her and Nick shared a ‘real’ kiss, upsetting most of her fellow bachelorettes.
Fans will have to wait and see who actually gets the real first kiss.
The Bachelor airs Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 on Network Ten
