Is Taylor going to the VMAs in 2025?
Sadly, Taylor Swift did not attend the 2025 VMAs.

She was nominated for Artist of the Year but ultimately lost to Lady Gaga.
The singer/songwriter attended the VMAs last year and took home seven of the twelve awards she was nominated for (including Artist of the Year).
Taylor also thanked Travis Kelce in her acceptance speech for Video of the Year.
“The thing is that this video [Fortnight], it seems very sad when you watch it. But it actually was like the most fun video to make,” she began.

“And something that I’ll always remember is that when I would finish a take and I’d say cut and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone cheering and like, ‘Wooooo,’ like from across the studio where we were shooting it,” she continued.
“And that one person was my boyfriend Travis … everything this man touches turns into happiness and fun and magic.”
Who’s nominated?
Lady Gaga – who will tour Australia later this year – lead the nominations this year with 12.
Following closely behind are Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar – who’s also touring Australia later this year – with 11 nominations and 10 nominations respectively.
