What happens to your body when you start using natural deodorant?

Switching from aluminium-based deodorants to natural alternatives has visible effects as quickly as five weeks (when used consistently). Traditional antiperspirants are filled with aluminium salts which are designed to block your pores and prevent excess sweat.

So, in weeks one through two your body will begin to purge the aluminium from sweat ducts – leaving you to sweat and smell more than usual. But don’t lose hope. In weeks three to four your body will establish a new state of ‘normal’, neutralizing the bacteria in your underarms. By week five you will be reaping all the benefits; no more embarrassing stains, odour blocking, zero toxic chemicals and so much more
