“I do prefer wearing no makeup,” Isabella Giovinazzo, 26, confesses after posing for WHO’s annual Stars Without Makeup issue. “So getting together to celebrate natural beauty is wonderful.”
That said, there are some things the actress does to help her achieve that natural glow. She reveals all to WHO.
What’s your beauty routine?
I always put on a nice oil before bed, to keep [my face] really moisturised. It’s great, because I don’t have the clearest skin and it keeps it really moisturised so it doesn’t get too dirty the next day. I also go hectic with exfoliating because I can get a lot of blackheads. I actually use a brush.
Do you find you have good skin?
It depends on lifestyle. Like, it bites me in the butt if I have a terrible weekend. I know I am going to have a bad week if I’ve had a really fun weekend. Exercising, eating well and not drinking too much will 100% make a difference. You get out what you put in.
What’s your best beauty hack?
Keep your skin moisturised. People often think if you’ve got oily skin you shouldn’t moisturise, but it does help! I love Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream. It’s sweeping through Home and Away at the moment. I’ve had conversations with [co-star] Alec Snow about the status of our eight hour cream use and the miracles it’s worked!
A lot of the cast had better skin before we started on the show because we have to wear the heavy makeup. So we are learning how to work as an actor and have good skin.
When do you feel most beautiful?
My husband and I have been doing this thing where we cook a really big dinner, like a roast, and invite all our best friends over! That’s what I love to do… eat, drink, talk and laugh with my best friends and family.
