Glamour girl Kim Kardashian is worth a neat $350M US so money is not exactly an issue, but the woman loves a good save as much as the rest of us and who can blame her. There’s nothing quite like heading home with a swag of beauty buys that altogether cost less than a night out with friends. Like to see which budget beauty Kimmy K loves more than most? First of all, as far as skincare is concerned Kim is a Cetaphil devotee. This will delight dermatologists who also adore the brand thanks to its quality ingredients that cleanse skin of dirt and grime but never remove natural oils or leave the skin feeling tight and / or sore.
“At home, I use Cetaphil, the bar of soap or sometimes the more liquid [cleanser],” Kim told Refinery 29.
She also likes Cetaphil lotion and moisturiser and, when she’s concerned about breakouts, Clearasil face wash.
And while Kim does of course enjoy a high-end product (I mean seriously, who doesn’t?), she’s also happy to use bargain basement makeup if she believes the quality is there. When it comes to these next products she believes that and more.
Take mascara for instance. Kim adores Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara – especially now that it comes in a waterproof version. Because tears you know? Can happen! Does happen! I mean you’ve seen the show right?
The mama of three also loves a Revlon lipstick – which usually come in under $20. Bargain! Truth be told, there’s a great deal of makeup that costs very little and yet provides big bang for buck. And a savvy business woman like Kim knows this only too well.
“I think the best makeup, you can get for such an affordable price,” she says. And damn if we don’t agree.
