The way you eat dinner is about to be roasted, thanks to a first-of-its-kind culinary comedy show.
Hosted by comedian, actor, and self-proclaimed anti-foodie Nikki Osborne, the one-night-only comedy event will feature viral comedians Troy Kinne and Gen Fricker to roast “over-the-top foodie culture”.
Set as a playful take on the dinner-time drama taking over our feeds, everything from splitting sides to outrageous recipes, nothing is off limits (or off the table) at EveryPlate’s Dinner Roast.
“I love food, but I don’t think dinner should feel like you’re auditioning for a cooking show. EveryPlate’s Dinner Roast is all about celebrating the ups and downs of getting dinner on the table and having a laugh at the ridiculous lengths foodie culture has gone to,” Nikki Osborne says.

“If you’ve ever absolutely butchered a recipe that has way too many steps or set off the smoke alarm trying to flambé a fish, then this night is for you. And even if you’ve never cooked a day in your life and just want a good laugh, a great feed, and a fun night out, you’re more than welcome at the table.”
At the event, you can expect a night of great food and big laughs, with a feast that includes starters, a hearty main and dessert. See the full menu here.
Hannah Gilbert, Senior Product Development Manager at EveryPlate shared: “At EveryPlate, we believe good food should be simple, affordable and enjoyable, and that’s exactly the spirit behind EveryPlate’s Dinner Roast.
“The menu on the night will reflect the kind of hearty, fuss-free meals we deliver to customers every week: comforting food that tastes great, without needing a culinary degree to make it.”
The comedy show will be held on Thursday, June 18, at Level One at Potts Point Hotel. Doors open from 6:30pm. Make sure to grab your tickets here, and find out if your over-the-top dinner habits will get put on the grill at EveryPlate’s Dinner Roast.
