Amal Clooney steals the show at Cannes Film Festival

Walking arm in arm with her film-star husband George, Amal Clooney was the epitome of French class and Hollywood glamour at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Money Monster.

Gracing the steps of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, the Doughty Street Chambers barrister wore Atelier Versace accentuated with Cartier Jewels. 

Her make-up was provided by Charlotte Tilbury who shared this behind the scenes shot.

Earlier this year, husband George Clooney opened up to ET on how Amal is adapting to fame, “She does very well with that.” He said at the premiere of Hail! Caesar. “It’s hard to do, I think.” He remarked.

Despite her skyrocketing profile, Mrs Clooney says she’s not phased by the effects of fame.

Speaking to Cynthia McFadden earlier this year, the distinguished human rights attorney said, “”I think it’s wonderful that celebrities would choose to spend their time or energy or, you know, the spotlight that they have to raise awareness about these causes.

“I don’t really see myself in the same way because I’m still doing the same job that I used to do before.”

Looking right at home on the red carpet, the fluent French speaker was also flanked by George’s Money Monster co-star and friend of two decades Julia Roberts.

Film director Jodie Foster, who is well-known to French audiences for her command of the romance language was also on hand to promote the thriller.
