Since welcoming her first child True to the world back in April, Khloe Kardashian has copped her fair share of flak online. Between her decision to eat her placenta or her return to the gym three-weeks post-partum, the trolls haven’t held back from questioning her every parenting decision.
But the 33-year-old doesn’t have time to be mummy-shamed. Which is why she swiftly clapped back at the haters who came at her for feeding her daughter formula.
It all started when one fan tweeted her appreciation that Khloe had been so candid about her breastfeeding struggles.
“Mad respect to @khloekardashian for opening up about supplementing with formula,” the post read. “I had to do that when I went back to work, and I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t produce enough because I was away from Jackson. Fed is best!”

Naturally, Khloe had the perfect response:
“Mummy shaming is real! But the truth is I’ve tried and tried and tried to breast-feed only and it wasn’t working for me. I feel fortunate that I am able to breast-feed but with the help of formula,” she wrote.
“Breast-feeding is something I really wanted to do. Just am not fully able.”
Mommy shaming is real! But the truth is I’ve tried and tried and tried to breast feed only and it wasn’t working for me. I feel fortunate that I am able to still breast-feed but with the help of formula. Breast-feeding is something I really wanted to do. Just am not fully able

Her fans were (of course) overwhelmingly supportive.
It’s not easy for everyone and I’m sure everyone has given you a what’s best advice… just remember you can only do your best and other alternatives are just as good if it means you are happy too, happy mom happy baby. Only you know what’s best 🙂 enjoy your wee one x

I work in an OB office and I’m going to tell you what I tell all my new mothers. FEED THE BABY. If you can breast feed great, if you can’t, choose a good formula. The most important thing is raising a healthy child. Too many people judge moms and it need to stop.
