WHO reader Kathryn Mitchell lost 25kgs

And she can still enjoy all the food she loves!

Feeling depressed, lethargic, unhappy and self- conscious was normal for Kathryn Mitchell, 39, before she took the plunge and signed up for Michelle Bridges’12WBT (12 week body transformation).

“I wanted to try and get to the weight I was when I felt my best and that was around my early 20s,” she says. But her eating and exercise habits needed a shake-up.

“I started gaining weight once I got a job in hospitality. I never had time to eat correctly so I would snack on all the wrong foods. I had tried pretty much most diets and fads to no avail. I decided it was time for action so I had to change my entire eating habits and mindset.”

Signing up to 12WBT was just the thing. “All the recipes are yummy and super quick to make. The support from the crew and fellow 12WBT-ers is amazing,” says Mitchell, who has lost 25kg since following Bridges’ plan.

“There is always someone there to answer any questions no matter how trivial you think they are. Michelle’s video messages each week seem to always come at the exact time you need them for a bit of extra inspiration.”

Once a self-professed couch potato, Mitchell now does burpees and squats daily just for fun and her meals are much healthier too.

“In my old life, sausage rolls, meat pies and cakes were what I ate but have since gone out the window and been replaced with healthy meals and snacks. I have learnt that I can still enjoy food with the right tools and recipes I acquired through 12WBT.”
