Abbie Chatfield is kicking off the new year on a high. She’s madly in love, she’s mended fences with her bestie and her It’s A Lot podcast is going from strength to strength.

Now she’s also radio’s hottest new host, thanks to the launch of her national show Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield on the Hit Network.
“It’s been a pretty wild time,” she tells WHO. “Even by my standards!”
That wild time kicked off following a fateful trip to Byron Bay last November when Chatfield was introduced to Konrad Bień-Stephen, who was then featuring on Brooke Blurton’s recent season of The Bachelorette Australia.
Sparks immediately flew and since then, they’ve been joined at the hip.
Now Chatfield tells WHO that they’re moving in together.
“I’ve never lived with a partner and never wanted to live with a partner, but now I do with Konrad,” the reality TV star, 26, admits. “He’s a beautiful soul.”
The Melbourne tradie is her number one fan, too.
“He’s just so considerate,” explains Chatfield. “For example, when I announced my radio show on Instagram, I went back up to my house in Byron and he’d set up balloons, gotten me flowers and had all my favourite lollies set out, just to congratulate me. He’s weird like me, but we work so well.”
But in a much publicised recent drama, Blurton slammed Chatfield for going public with Bień-Stephen while he was still on The Bachelorette. As a result, a messy online spat, including an Instagram unfollowing, ensued.
Now that the drama has died down (and Blurton has refollowed Chatfield) she’s reluctant to expand too much more on the issues.
But she reveals, “There was some drama with Brooke when Konrad and I got together [which Chatfield apologised for], but we are in a better place now. I think so anyway.”
Instead, last year’s winner of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! prefers to focus on the positives in her life. Her debut radio show hit the airwaves nationally this week and is already earning rave reviews.
“It’s very hot, it’s very Abbie!” she says. “I mean, I can’t be as explicit as I get on the podcast but it will have a flavour of that content. It’s very high energy.”
She also promises that more details about her relationship with Bień-Stephen, her celebrity friends and gossip from her reality TV stints will feature.
“It would be weird if I kept anything off limits,” she says. “Let’s face it, that’s not who I am!”
Catch Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield, 7-9pm weeknights across 50 Hit stations.
