Aldi recall popular food product

The supermarket chain have released a statement warning customers.

Aldi have recalled a popular snack after peanuts were discovered in the product, after not being stated on the packaging.

The 200g bags of ‘Oh So Natural Wholefoods Almond, Cashew & Cranberry Bites’ have been recalled from stores in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales due to the presence of peanuts not declared in the allergen statement.

The product was sold in: Lavington, Albury, Tweed Heads South, Grafton, Ballina, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, CASINO, Byron Bay, Toormina, Goonellabah, Armidale and Kingscliff. 

Aldi have told customers that they can “return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund”.
